By Mo Willems
This book is written in Te Reo Māori.
The popular children’s picture book Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! is now translated into te reo Māori. With the same lively, cartoon-like illustrations as the original book, the reo Māori version retains the fun and humour of Mo Willems’s story, capturing the pigeon’s pleading, wheedling and reasoning as it tries to get the reader to agree to it driving the bus while the driver isn’t there.
The translation is by Kawata Teepa
