Fifty Years of the Waitangi Tribunal edited by Carwyn Jones and Maria Bargh, celebrates decisions, results and reports of the Waitangi Tribunal over half a century.
This collection contains chapters on themes of land, water and the natural environment, the settlements process, the Kaupapa Inquiries, and issues of social policy, mana, and rangatiratanga, each written by an expert in the area. The collection also highlights the breadth of issues considered by the Tribunal and also the impact the Tribunal has had on complex legal concepts, representation of communities and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
